The first workshop took place on 06/05/2025 in San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy (Cinema Masaccio), reaching around 100 participants. Due to the high attendance, it followed a conference-style methodology. The session was opened by project member and Licei teacher Barbara Andreani, who introduced the SafeOnline project and its mission to protect students from cyberbullying. A central element was the demonstration of the Interactive Simulator, allowing participants to explore real-life scenarios and learn how to use the results to provide tailored student support. The SafeOnline e-Learning Platform was also presented.
In the second part of the event, MP Elena Ferrara shared her personal experience related to the case of Carolina Picchio, a student who died by suicide following cyberbullying, and explained how this experience shaped her work as an educator and politician, leading to the approval of a national law against cyberbullying. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session.
The second workshop was held on 10/11/2025 in San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy (University of Siena – Geotechnology Department), with around 55 participants. It focused on stakeholder engagement, hands-on testing of project materials by students and teachers, demonstrations of the e-Toolkit and Interactive Simulator, and discussions on practical implementation and lessons learned. The event also fostered networking and collaboration and concluded with the collection of qualitative feedback through informal discussions.
